In Ukraine, an automatic transfer of housing subsidies was implemented, resulting in thousands of people losing the opportunity to receive this state aid. However, some of them can still resume their payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was stated by the head of the housing subsidy department of the Main Department of the PFU in the Rivne region, Natalia Leshchenko, during a broadcast on “Ukrainian Radio. Rivne”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The automatic transfer took place on May 1 to renew the right to receive housing subsidies for the upcoming heating season. As a result of this process, more than 12,000 households in the Rivne region lost their subsidies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In particular, this applies to families with overdue utility service debts exceeding three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, many citizens can still submit new applications to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. This is relevant for persons who received assistance as internally displaced persons, according to a rental agreement, or for those whose number of people living in housing is less than the registered number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
