The average cost of a 0.5-liter bottle of vodka increased by 2.2%, reaching 118.4 hryvnias. Ukrainian-made wines (in 0.7-liter bottles) rose by 7.8%, with their average price now at 118.6 hryvnias. Beer has risen the most: a 0.5 liter bottle has increased in price by 11.3%, to 35.5 hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The increase in prices in the alcohol sector is caused by both inflationary processes and rising production and transportation costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of early June 2025, prices for the same goods differ depending on the retail chains. For example, Vardiani wine is sold for the cheapest price in Novus supermarkets at 114.00 hryvnia, while in Auchan, its cost reaches 132.30 hryvnia. Khlibny Dar vodka is the most affordable at Auchan, priced at 105.20 hryvnia, while in Megamarket and Novus, its price exceeds 144 hryvnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chernihivske beer can be purchased at Megamarket for 26.40 hryvnia, while at Metro, its cost is 36.99 hryvnia. Lvivske beer is available only in Novus for 31.49 hryvnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Price data is constantly updated based on official information from Auchan, Megamarket, Metro, and Novus chains, enabling consumers to choose the most profitable offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was also previously reported that fish products have become a new symbol of luxury, with prices that shock buyers. Traditional borscht is acquiring the status of an expensive dish due to the increase in prices for its ingredients.
