The Russian military has begun a significant transfer of equipment from Crimea and the Kherson region to the Kursk region, likely to increase its military presence on the border with the Sumy region in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surveillance has recorded more than 40 trucks with personnel and ammunition, as well as at least 10 new self-propelled artillery installations and one air defense system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The columns of equipment passed through occupied Mariupol in the direction of Novoazovsk and then to Taganrog. According to sources, the Russians loaded the equipment onto railway platforms for further delivery to the Kursk region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the most significant transfer of military equipment from Crimea in the past six months and the first since the start of the full-scale invasion, according to military intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the transfer of equipment, tactical markings in the form of a “triangle within a triangle” were observed, used by specific units that appear to be preparing for new actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of particular interest is the emergence of new self-propelled artillery systems that have not been previously documented in the southern region. Their transportation through Crimea indicates changes in logistics and, probably, new plans of the occupiers for actions on the northern front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
