This is the area above the “Fregat” beach, where activists from the public organization “Kryzhanivka Fishermen’s Association” are engaged in landscaping, cleaning, building a pier, and organizing free sports clubs for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is currently planned to sell this land through an auction. Residents are concerned because if the plot is sold to a private owner, access to the coast may be restricted. They note that similar situations have already occurred in other areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is also worth noting that cases of leased land passing into private hands are not uncommon. For example, in the village of Fontanka, a three-acre plot with access to the sea was sold for 68 thousand hryvnias. Residents consider this price to be low and the sale process to be opaque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the football field near the school may also be put up for auction for lease, which raises concerns among the community about the future use of this space for children’s activities and public events. The request to lease the land from the “Kryzhanivka Fishermen’s Association” has been rejected twice by the village council, which insists on holding auctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The community is concerned that the land may be transferred for private development, which will deprive them of access to the 1.2 km long coastline. This threatens the existence of water sports activities and diminishes the region’s tourist appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
