Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, signed a decree implementing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on coordinating sanctions policy with international partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision is based on Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, which provides for the synchronization of sanctions pressure between Ukraine, the EU, and the G7 countries on the Russian Federation and its related entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main provisions of the decision<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the adopted decision, sanctions approved by international partners must be considered in Ukraine and approved by the NSDC within 15 days from the moment they are introduced in other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cabinet of Ministers, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Bank of Ukraine were instructed to implement foreign sanctions within their respective national jurisdictions fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foreign Intelligence Service,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prosecutor General’s Office.
These bodies are tasked with ensuring that sanctions already imposed by Ukraine are aligned with those applied by the EU, the US, and other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NSDC explained that the decision was made “to achieve the most severe consequences for Russia for its aggression against Ukraine” and to limit the military-industrial potential of the aggressor state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukraine currently has the technical capacity to produce up to 8 million drones annually; however, in practice, achieving this volume is complicated by insufficient funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
