This possibility was emphasized in the Pension Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to current rules, when calculating the pension, the official salary is taken into account, starting <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">from July 2000<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. This period marked the introduction of the Register of Insured Persons, which records data on paid contributions and income.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">However, there is an exception that can positively affect the size of the pension. If a person had a higher income for the period before July 1, 2000, they can provide a voluntary certificate of income for any 60 consecutive months. This may be particularly important for those who worked part-time, had a highly specialized qualification, or held a well-paid position during those years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This certificate is only required if the person does not have at least five years of insurance experience <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">after July 1, 2000<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The certificate must be issued by:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The enterprise or organization where the person worked;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the legal successor of this enterprise;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Or an archival institution if the organization is liquidated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pension Fund specialists advise checking the availability of relevant documents in advance and, if necessary, contacting the archive. Such a step can significantly increase the monthly pension payment amount.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It was also reported that Ukrainians can demand a recalculation of their pension if it does not meet their satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Additionally, a 10% increase was announced for pensioners: find out who will receive this increase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Moreover, pensioners may be eligible for an additional payment of 2,000 hryvnias under certain circumstances.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Citizens of Ukraine planning to retire can increase their payments if they provide a certificate of salary for individual years before 2000.
