This is an addition to UN payments for pensioners and social benefits for people with disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Who are the new payments intended for<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to the Pension Fund, additional material assistance will be available not only to women raising children on their own but also to those who are not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">children from large families;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Children whose parents evade paying alimony;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Children whose parents are unable to support them;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Children whose parents&#8217; whereabouts are unknown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How is the amount of assistance determined<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The basic amount for calculating assistance is 4,500 hryvnias per person. However, the final amount of the payment will depend on the family&#8217;s income:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pension Fund experts determine how much money a family should receive by multiplying UAH 4,500 by the number of family members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The average monthly family income is subtracted from this amount.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The difference is the amount of state support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Important: Assistance will be provided only to those who have a confirmed status at the time of application (e.g., single mothers and<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">low-income families).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Payment processing procedure<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">An application for assistance can be submitted in two ways: online via the platform or mobile application &#8220;Diya&#8221; or in person at any Pension Fund service center, regardless of place of residence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Procedure:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Please fill out the application form to receive assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wait for the data to be verified and the amount to be calculated by the fund&#8217;s specialists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Read the results and confirm your consent, after which a representative of the Pension Fund will sign the application, and the funds will be credited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The benefit is calculated for a whole month, even if the application was submitted in the middle or at the end of the month. The payment is assigned for six months with subsequent automatic extension while the program is in effect (planned for two years).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Additionally, as previously reported, new payments of 300,000 hryvnia for the birth of a child have been discussed, with a focus on strengthening support for families in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Several financial initiatives are being implemented in Ukraine to support citizens who have found themselves in difficult circumstances.
