In Ukraine, women with medical and pharmaceutical education have been granted the status of conscripts. Although their conscription is possible only at will, they must still register with territorial recruitment centers (TCKs); otherwise, they face significant fines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to current regulations, this applies to women aged 18 to 60 who have received the appropriate education. Having this education obliges them to complete military registration, even if the woman does not work in her specialty or is on maternity leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Educational institutions, such as colleges and universities, must provide the TCK with lists of female students of the appropriate profile in advance. After receiving a temporary military ID, a woman is required to appear at the TCK within a week for registration and a medical examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lawyers warn that failing to update data promptly or ignoring calls from the TCK can result in possible fines. If a woman does not appear at the CCC after receiving an official notification, she may be subject to an administrative fine, even if it is her initiative. According to the code, the amount of the fine can range from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the event of repeated violations or failure to fulfill duties, liability can be significantly increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Women who are registered in the military must fulfill several obligations, including responding to CCC calls, reporting changes in personal data, undergoing a medical examination, and, if desired, entering into a contract or participating in military training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
