Employees of enterprises that play a strategic role in the economy of Ukraine may be exempted from mobilization, but this is possible only on condition that they are not wanted in territorial recruitment centers. Lawyer Vladyslav Derii noted that the presence of a wanted status not only complicates the booking process but can also have additional legal consequences for employees. According to the expert, in some cases, a person may be wanted by mistake – for example, due to untimely updating of information in the “Oberig” system or failure to notify the CCC of changes in the place of work or residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Derii points out, a person has the opportunity to try to correct the situation remotely by sending a registered letter to the relevant CCC with a request to cancel the erroneous wanted record. The letter must contain an explanation of the case and copies of documents confirming the absence of violations of military registration, such as a certificate from the place of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the lawyer emphasizes that in Ukraine this approach often turns out to be ineffective: the CCC may refuse to satisfy the request, or the person may receive a new summons. Therefore, the problem of canceling the wanted list without personal presence is rarely resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, the specialist recommends preparing for the possibility of a personal visit to the CCC to receive an explanation of the reasons for the wanted list and provide relevant documents. Only after official exclusion from the wanted list can you begin the booking process through the employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, the wanted status in the “Oberig” register creates serious obstacles to booking, so employees of strategic enterprises should check their status in advance.
