The State Tax Service in the Ivano-Frankivsk region reported that local taxpayers have debts of over 2 billion hryvnias. Over the past six months, thanks to lawsuits in the courts, debts amounting to 222 million hryvnias have been partially repaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the first six months of this year, tax officials filed 665 claims against legal entities, individuals, and sole proprietors for a total of 202.7 million hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of the total number of claims filed, 190 were successful, which allowed them to collect 73.1 million hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the first half of the year, employees of the regional State Tax Service Department issued more than 4 thousand payment instructions for a total of over 1.2 billion hryvnias, based on which the courts made decisions in favor of the tax service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.6 million hryvnias were written off from debtors’ bank accounts, and 56.6 thousand hryvnias were withdrawn from cash. An additional 4.9 million hryvnias were received through work with bankrupt enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, based on court decisions, municipally owned enterprises reduced their tax debt to the budget by 800 thousand hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, based on the actions of the State Tax Service in the Ivano-Frankivsk region in the first half of 2025, 222 million hryvnias were received by the consolidated budget, of which 116.3 million went to the state budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As of July 1, 2025, the total amount of tax debt decreased by 64.8 million hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, there is no accurate information about enterprises that evade taxes and the reasons for this phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Given this situation, the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the NGO “Stop Corruption”, Vitaliy Chornenky, noted that he is refraining from commenting for the time being until the reasons for the debts become known:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
