A new norm has appeared in Ukraine regarding women with medical or pharmaceutical education. From now on, they will automatically be registered for military service without the need for personal presence or contacting territorial recruitment centers. This means that, having a diploma as a nurse, doctor, or pharmacist, you can be registered, even if you are unaware of the registration process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on July 30, 2025, as reported by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk. Changes were made to several regulatory documents, in particular, to the procedure for maintaining military records, the regulation on the TCC, and the mobilization process during a special period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the new rules, information about women with medical education will be transmitted to military commissariats directly from educational institutions, local governments, and registries. From now on, they do not need to come in person or submit applications – registration will be carried out centrally in digital format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, men who have reached the age of 25 and have not completed military service will automatically receive the title of “reserve soldier”. This procedure will also take place without their participation in the recruitment centers. If you are included in the database, you are already considered liable for military service, regardless of whether you have received a corresponding notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government notes that these steps are aimed at improving the accounting system and accelerating the mobilization processes. Educational institutions are now obliged to transfer data on their female medical graduates, and territorial recruitment centers must add this information to the Unified Register of Conscripts “Oberig”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These changes do not yet mean the immediate mobilization of women, but automatic registration without their consent is a cause for concern.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
