The investigation into the high-profile case of forced mobilization in the Rivne region has been completed. Three employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC) will stand trial for beating and unlawfully detaining a man who did not want to go to service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the events took place in February 2025 in the village of Ivannie. Employees of the Dubno TCC noticed a man on a bicycle and decided to stop him. However, he ignored their demands. After a short chase with a company car, the man was shot down right on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After that, having a signal pistol with him, he fired a shot in the air, which only angered the TCC employees. They used tear gas, forcibly dragged him into the car, and beat him, inflicting blows to the head and body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a result, the man received minor injuries. The beatings stopped only after he agreed to “talk.” The victim subsequently underwent a medical examination and was mobilized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The indictment in the case has already been submitted to the court. In June 2025, the State Bureau of Investigation informed three CCC employees of the suspicion, and they fully admitted their guilt during the investigation. They also expressed their intention to transfer to combat units after the trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Criminal proceedings were opened under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, providing for a penalty of up to six years in prison. The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Defense of the Western Region is conducting procedural management in this case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
