The judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the request of the NABU detective regarding the people’s deputy Oleksiy Kuznetsov. He was assigned a preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of posting a bail of 8 million hryvnias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Anti-Corruption Center reported this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to the arrest, the court also imposed several obligations on the deputy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to appear when summoned by the detective, prosecutor, or court;
to report a change of residence or work;
to submit documents for traveling abroad;
not to leave the borders of Kyiv and the Kyiv region;
to wear an electronic bracelet.
It was previously reported that the NABU and the SAPO had uncovered a large-scale corruption scheme related to the procurement of uncrewed aerial vehicles and electronic warfare equipment. The Center confirmed Kuznetsov’s participation in this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deputy is a member of the “Servant of the People” faction, but his membership will be suspended during the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recall that earlier it was reported about the corruption scheme discovered by the NABU and SAPO, which involved inflating prices for defense purchases – from electronic warfare systems to FPV drones for the National Guard.
