This means that the area may gradually lose fertile soils due to a combination of extreme heat, insufficient rainfall, and prolonged droughts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Krakovska also emphasized that due to global warming, the length of the seasons in Ukraine will significantly change. If summer now lasts about three months, then by the middle of the century, it may increase to 150-180 days a year. This will affect not only agriculture, but also the water balance, the state of forests, and the health of the population.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The expert noted that it is possible to avoid the worst-case scenarios through active adaptation: the introduction of water-saving technologies, changes in approaches to land use, greening of territories, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to Krakovska, climate change is already noticeable in Ukraine, so it is essential to act immediately to preserve natural resources and protect the population from extreme weather events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In addition, a noticeable decrease in temperature is expected in Ukraine <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on August 11<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. In the western, northern, central, and some eastern regions, thermometers will show +21\u2026+27 degrees, and in the east, up to +29. The south will remain the warmest, with a forecast of +29 to +32 degrees.
