A large mini-football tournament was held in the capital of Ukraine to unite military personnel, law enforcement officers, volunteers, and displaced persons. The event was organized by the public organization, “Union of Entrepreneurs of the Television and Film Industry.” The primary objective of the tournament was to raise charitable funds, while also highlighting the importance of sports unity in Ukrainian society during times of war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eight teams took part in the competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Military unit 3078 NGU;
Main Directorate of NGU;
Team of rehabilitation forces of Ukraine;
A team of artists and business representatives;
National Police of Ukraine;
A team of internally displaced persons;
1020 Anti-aircraft missile and artillery regiment;
NGO “Stop Corruption”.
Atmosphere of the event<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organizers spoke with the players of the teams and found out what feelings they brought to the field. Some showed sportsmanship, while others noted patriotic duty. However, all the participants were unanimous: they had gathered for the sake of victory and to support the Ukrainian military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Football strengthens physical fitness, develops strategic thinking, and teaches teamwork. We must be strong to support those who fight on the front lines,” said one of the players of the National Police team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the tension of the competition, the atmosphere remained friendly. The participants supported each other, and the fight for the cup was a pleasant addition to the main goal – a joint victory in war conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Course of the event<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the morning, registration, a briefing for the participants, a drawing of lots, and the grand opening of the tournament took place. A minute of silence was held in memory of the fallen defenders, after which the National Anthem of Ukraine was played.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, the musical group “Chyste Nebo” performed, and honored guests \u2014 including Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs Ruslan Prykhodko and Commander of 1020 ZRAP Colonel Oleksandr Dmukhovsky \u2014 congratulated the athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the celebrations, the first matches began, which lasted until lunch. In the afternoon, games for prize places were held. The tournament ended with an award ceremony and presentation of gifts from sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Football is the most popular sport in the world, understandable and accessible to everyone. It unites people \u2014 from players to fans. In such difficult conditions as war, the importance of this sport only grows, because it unites society and increases fighting spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the rainy weather, the tournament was held in a positive and spirited atmosphere. The primary victory was not only in the results on the field, but in the unity felt by all participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
