According to the results of the targeted placement of the state order, 31,211 applicants received recommendations for budget places. The Ministry of Education and Science reported that the funding is aimed at training personnel who are most needed for the restoration and modernization of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In particular, the emphasis is on areas such as pedagogy, engineering, IT, energy, and construction. According to the Minister of Education, Oksen Lisovoy, the targeted placement algorithm combines the motivation of applicants with the real demands of the economy and the labor market. &#8220;Our goal is for graduates to quickly return to their communities with knowledge that contributes to development and security,&#8221; he noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to the EDEBO, this year, more than 100 thousand electronic cabinets were created, and the number of applications submitted exceeded 196 thousand. At the same time, more than half of them, namely 106 thousand, were for budget places. The average applicant submitted two applications out of a possible fifteen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Top majors by number of applications:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Psychology \u2014 23,223<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Law \u2014 21,616<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Management \u2014 14,581<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Secondary education \u2014 11,453<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Computer science \u2014 9,198<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Most popular universities by number of applications:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv \u2014 11,762<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lviv Polytechnic National University \u2014 9,815<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ivan Franko National University of Lviv \u2014 7,237<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute \u2014 7,069<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Yaroslav Mudry National University of Law \u2014 4,893<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Majors with the most significant number of budget recommendations:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Secondary education \u2014 3,070<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Computer science \u2014 1,745<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Electrical engineering \u2014 1,189<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Civil and civil engineering \u2014 1,101<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Software engineering provision \u2014 1,079<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Universities with the most significant number of budget recommendations:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NTUU &#8220;Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute&#8221; \u2014 1,806<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University \u2014 1,627<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lviv Polytechnic National University \u2014 1,561<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ivan Franko Lviv National University \u2014 1,086<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NUBiP of Ukraine \u2014 749<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants who have received budget recommendations must confirm their choice and fulfill all requirements for enrollment <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">by August 30<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
