It is known that Zelensky wore a suit made of Japanese fabrics during a meeting with US President Donald Trump. The cost of such an outfit is about $400-500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Viktor Anisimov shared the details during Kyiv Fashion Week, noting that after this meeting at the White House, the president’s suit became the subject of considerable attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The designer recalls that the development of the suit before the visit to the White House was a surprise and caused a great stir. On August 18, during a meeting in the Oval Office, Trump praised the Ukrainian president’s outfit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also explained that the three suits for Zelensky are made of cotton, linen, and nettle, and that high-quality materials can be expensive, but for the president, they are sewn almost at cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The cost of a suit varies from $400 to $500,” Anisimov said, explaining that the final price depends on the number of details, such as pockets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The designer also spoke about the preparation of a festive outfit for Independence Day. Initially, it was planned to create a blue suit with elements of national symbols, such as poppies or spikelets. However, in the end, they decided to prepare a black version as well, since the president might not like the bright color of the fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the end, Zelensky chose a black suit, but he performed at the holiday in an embroidered shirt. The final choice was made during the fitting, when the president finally refused the blue version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
