A mother and daughter who came to the city in search of work have chosen a criminal path, stealing from single women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Khmelnytskyi region, a court ruled in the case of a 51-year-old woman and her 19-year-old daughter who, under the pretext of being gas service workers, robbed pensioners in their homes. The elder received six years in prison, and the younger one – five years with a two-year probationary period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the investigation, in June of this year, the defendants arrived in Kamianets-Podilskyi with the intention of finding temporary work. They went around the apartments of isolated pensioners, posing as gas service workers. While the daughter distracted the women, the mother looked for money in the homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In just two days, the women managed to go around five apartments and steal about 24 thousand hryvnias of savings from senior citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Prosecutor’s Office, a major, who serves as the deputy head of the territorial center for recruiting and social support in Kharkiv, was suspected of illegal interference in the “Oberig” system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was established that he unreasonably changed the registration data of those liable for military service, including persons registered without their actual appearance, and removed from the wanted list those who did not appear at the territorial center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
