The colonel posted on his account photos of maps marked with personal markings along the front line, sparking public debate and fears of a possible leak of restricted information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the message received from the Main Directorate of Communication of the Armed Forces, the examination of the published maps confirmed that they do not contain the coordinates of combat operations or indicate the participation of specific units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The military also noted that the information on the maps does not pose a security threat, as a significant amount of time has passed between the events and their publication. The post does not contain sensitive data that enemy forces could use to harm the Ukrainian army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manko himself explained that he used Google Maps and made the marks himself, stressing that the publication does not contain closed or official materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The General Staff confirmed that the results of a detailed analysis showed that the maps did not contain information that the enemy could use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
