The premiere of the video for the cult song “Kozak” by the band “DakhaBrakha” took place in Kyiv, which was the result of cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The atmospheric video was created in collaboration with British director Thomas James, the production company No Stars, and OLX Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The band “DakhaBrakha”, which gained international fame thanks to its unique ethno-house style, released a video for the song “Kozak”, which is already available on YouTube. Director Thomas James, known for his distinctive visual style, worked on this project with special inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This song first appeared in 2014 on the debut album “Yagudky”. In the new version, the track received a richer sound thanks to the updated instrumental accompaniment. The video features masks from the Center for Contemporary Art “DAKH” exhibitions, symbolizing the band’s emotions and creative history in collaboration with the theater community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the members of “DakhaBrakha”, the new sound of the song became a source of inspiration for Thomas James, who, in turn, created a short film with a unique atmosphere. The OLX platform and the No Stars Production company also actively participated in the implementation of the clip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
