The Sudovo-Yurydychna Gazeta reports this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A new mechanism for registering women with appropriate education for military registration comes into effect <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on July 31, 2025<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. This mechanism, often called &#8220;automatic&#8221;, contains a clearly prescribed procedure in accordance with the updated Order No. 1487, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on December 30, 2022<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Transfer of information to the CCC after training<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Educational institutions that train female specialists are obliged to submit lists of graduates to the CCC within 7 days of issuing diplomas, at their place of residence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After that, the CCC will enter this data into the &#8220;Oberig&#8221; register and assign a military registration specialty to each woman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Passing the VLK is mandatory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Graduates must personally visit the CCC within 60 days of graduation to pass a military medical commission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For whom the old rules apply<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The new rules apply to those who received their education after July 31, 2025. Women who graduated before this date and are not registered must independently apply to the CCC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mandatory military registration and exceptions<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Military registration is mandatory for women with a medical or pharmaceutical specialty; this norm remains unchanged. Other specialists can register only voluntarily.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The military registration document (VOD) is a key document for employment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Since 2025, women with relevant specialties must provide a military registration document (VOD) upon hiring, in both paper and electronic formats via the &#8220;Reserve +&#8221; application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Without this document, the employer does not have the right to hire an employee, as keeping records without a VoD is prohibited by law and may result in fines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If an employee is hired without a VoD before 05\/18\/2024<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In this case, the employer must notify the CCC in any form. Although no specific deadlines have been set for this, this should be done before possible inspections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Keeping records of women with a VoD<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The employer must keep records of such employees in accordance with general rules, similar to those for men liable for military service. This includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Notification of changes in registration data within seven days after hiring or dismissal, as well as by the 5th of the month in case of a change in name, address, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">List of personal military records, where women from the military service are entered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Operational records, where the number of such workers is separately indicated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Women&#8217;s conscription is only voluntary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Despite the mandatory registration, women&#8217;s mobilization is possible only with their voluntary consent. The Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Military Duty and Military Service&#8221; strictly prohibits the forced conscription of women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Reservation &#8211; not applicable<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Women are not subject to reservations and are not taken into account when calculating the quota for reservations at enterprises. Until the end of 2025, no changes are foreseen regarding the conscription of Ukrainian women.
