An extraordinary event occurred at the rehabilitation center in Khmelnytskyi: two lions escaped from their enclosures. According to the head of the institution, Serhiy Palyokhin, unknown persons broke the locks on the enclosure doors, allowing the animals to escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“When I arrived in the morning, I discovered that the locks were damaged. This was the reason for the lions’ escape,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The center’s employees quickly found the first predator and returned it to a safe room. The second lion is still at large, and its whereabouts are still being established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the State Emergency Service of the Khmelnytskyi region, a drone unit will be involved in the search operation. The use of drones will allow for a more effective survey of the area and increase the likelihood of detecting the animal quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rescuers urge residents to be cautious, avoid suspicious areas, and to immediately seek help if they find signs of a predator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
