After another extension of martial law and mobilization until February 2026, discussions about a possible “full mobilization” have once again intensified in Ukraine. Social networks are actively discussing whether the state can decide to recruit all men, and some even women, into the army if the situation at the front worsens.<\/p>\n
Experts in military analysis note that although the topic of total mobilization periodically arises in the media, it has not yet led to any specific measures. Experts emphasize that in modern conditions, the main problem is not only the number of military personnel, but also providing recruits with the necessary resources without disrupting the economy’s stability.<\/p>\n
Military expert Ivan Stupak notes that expanding mobilization is meaningless without recognizing its consequences. According to him, if, say, all farmers are mobilized, no one will harvest the crop, exports will stop, and currency will become scarce. “Will we attract workers from other countries to harvest the harvest?” he ironically remarks.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Stupak points to the intensification of the recruitment system in Ukraine. He notes that although specific figures are not given, the process is gaining momentum. “If you invest resources in this matter, you can achieve results. This is more effective than forced conscription – people themselves go to military registration and enlistment offices, being motivated,” the specialist adds.<\/p>\n
However, not everyone believes that increased mobilization will be the key to victory on the front lines. Former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladislav Seleznyov, reminds that mobilization is only part of the effort. “Conscripting new fighters is only half the battle. They need to be provided with ammunition, equipment, and assigned positions. Without these resources, even the largest mobilization will not solve the situation,” he emphasizes.<\/p>\n
