The process of emigration is ongoing in Ukraine, as many Ukrainians are leaving for abroad and starting a new life. This was emphasized by the head of the parliamentary finance committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, during a business forum.<\/p>\n
He noted that currently about five to six million Ukrainians live in the territory of partner countries, and most of them do not plan to return. The politician believes that it is a mistake to hope for the mass involvement of foreign workers as a solution to economic problems. Hetmantsev emphasizes that Ukraine should not rely on labor from less developed countries in Asia, as this does not provide stability and cannot compensate for the loss of human resources.<\/p>\n
Hetmantsev also noted that the country’s most significant potential lies in Ukrainians currently abroad, who are ready to return if the necessary conditions are met. This includes affordable housing, transparent business processes, stable jobs, and confidence in the future. According to him, the experience of EU countries shows that importing labor is not always the optimal solution to demographic and economic problems and can cause new challenges in the labor market.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Getmantsev noted that the success of programs to return Ukrainians home directly depends on the end of hostilities.
