In the last position is “West Side Story” (2021). The director noted that this film confirmed that Steven Spielberg is still in great shape. Tarantino admitted that he did not expect to love the main character, whom he had not perceived before.<\/p>\n
In 19th place was “Fever” (2002) by Eli Roth. The director described it as exciting and, at the same time, comedic. Although he believes that “Hotel” could have been better, it was this film that left the most vivid impression on him.<\/p>\n
In 18th place is “The Man Who Changed Everything” (2011). Tarantino emphasized the sophistication of Brad Pitt’s performance, calling it one of the most striking in recent years.<\/p>\n
17th place is occupied by “Chocolat” (2008). According to Tarantino, this film features the most impressive kung-fu scenes he has ever seen.<\/p>\n
16th position is “The Exorcist” (2005) by Rob Zombie. Tarantino praised the innovative style, which combines harsh realism, horror, and the influence of Sam Peckinpah.<\/p>\n
15th place is “The Passion of the Christ” (2004). This film impressed Tarantino with its brutality, Mel Gibson’s exceptional talent, and its atmosphere.<\/p>\n
14th place was taken by “School of the Year” (2003). Tarantino called the film a real celebration, noting the excellent combination of Jack Black’s energy, Richard Linklater’s direction, and Mike White’s script.<\/p>\n
The 13th place went to the film “Freaks” (2002), which Tarantino called one of the funniest films of the last two decades, even showing it to the team while working on “Kill Bill”.<\/p>\n

7th place – “Uncontrollable” (2010) directed by Tony Scott. Tarantino described it as one of the best thrillers and praised the duo of actors Denzel Washington and Chris Pine.<\/p>\n
6th place was taken by “Zodiac” (2007). At first, the film did not impress, but after several viewings, Tarantino called it a masterpiece.<\/p>\n
In 5th place – “Oil” (2007). Although Tarantino admires Daniel Day-Lewis, he sharply criticized Paul Dano, calling him the film’s weakest link.<\/p>\n
4th place is “Dunkirk” (2017). The director admitted that he changed his opinion of this film after re-watching it, recognizing its mastery.<\/p>\n
3rd place is “Lost in Translation” (2003). Tarantino shared the influence the film had on him, noting that he began courting Sofia Coppola, calling the project “girlish” in the best sense.<\/p>\n
