In the fall of 2025, Iryna Ovcharenko was appointed Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine. Her professional career spans over 20 years, during which she worked in the field of water resources for a significant part of that time. However, the most attention is drawn to the material assets recorded in her declarations. This is reported by sources from the “Anti-Shakhrai Project 190”.<\/p>\n
In recent years, Iryna and her family have accumulated an impressive real estate portfolio, including land plots in the Kyiv region and apartments in the capital and Transcarpathia. Among the assets owned by Ovcharenko, we can highlight:<\/p>\n
a land plot with an area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b1200 sq. m in the village of Stovpyagi, Kyiv region, which she purchased in 2010 (the value is not specified in the declaration);
\nan apartment in Kyiv with an area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b43.2 sq. m, purchased in 2020 for 844 thousand UAH;
\nan apartment of 96.6 sq. m, purchased on February 20, 2021, for UAH 1.6 million;
\nanother apartment in the capital with an area of \u200b\u200b43.2 sq. m, purchased on the same day for UAH 713 thousand;
\nhousing in Mukachevo (32.7 sq. m), registered on February 17, 2024, for UAH 950 thousand.
\nInterestingly, some of these objects were initially listed as unfinished construction. In 2019, Ovcharenko indicated two apartments under construction: 91.4 and 42.67 sq. m. After completion of the work, the areas were brought to their current sizes.<\/p>\n
The property of her husband, Oleksandr Golub, attracts no less attention. The following are registered on it:<\/p>\n
An apartment in Mukachevo with an area of \u200b\u200b50.1 sq. m, obtained back in 2006 with a declared value of less than 8 thousand UAH – an amount that raises questions.
\nOn February 17, 2024, he purchased an apartment of 52.6 sq. m in Mukachevo for 1.7 million UAH; the same day, his wife bought her own home.
\nIn addition, his declaration mentions another apartment under construction (61.98 sq. m), which appeared in documents from 2022, when the official’s husband had no official income.<\/p>\n
The family does not own a single car, which contrasts sharply with their significant property portfolio. Financial indicators also do not look so impressive: Ovcharenko reported about 234 thousand UAH in salary from a private medical company and another 19 thousand UAH from a training center. Her husband’s income for the year was only 27 thousand UAH. Thus, the family’s total official income for 2024 amounted to approximately UAH 282 thousand, while Ovcharenko has $18 thousand in cash and about UAH 90 thousand in bank accounts, and the declared savings amount to over UAH 850 thousand. The husband’s financial assets are not indicated in the declaration.<\/p>\n
The origin of the funds that enabled the family to buy real estate actively is not disclosed in the documents. The same situation is observed in past declarations, where Ovcharenko’s moderate income and her husband’s lack of significant income are again noted, casting doubt on the legitimacy of their construction.<\/p>\n
