In the north of the Rivne region, border guards found two men who were lost in the forest while attempting to cross the border and enter the EU countries illegally. The air temperature that day reached minus 20 degrees.<\/p>\n
According to the State Border Guard Service, the men lost their orientation and were in the cold for a long time, which led to severe hypothermia and frostbite. One of them comes from the Poltava region, the other from the Dnipro region. They tried to evade mobilization.<\/p>\n
The service members actually had to carry the injured out of the forest. At the scene, the border guards provided first aid, warmed the men, and called an emergency medical team. The injured were taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
After assisting, the border guards filed administrative charges for attempting to cross the border illegally. The court will provide further legal assessment of their actions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
