The reason lies in physical processes and a sharp temperature drop. When frozen dough is immersed in boiling water, its edges quickly set, leaving the filling cold. As a result, the dough cracks, and the fillings can burst out. Active boiling causes the dumplings to stick together and sink to the bottom.<\/p>\n<p>But too cold water is not an option either. The dumplings warm up in it for a long time, the dough becomes damp, and the dish looks ugly. Therefore, it is very important to find the optimal water temperature for their preparation.<\/p>\n<p>Experienced chefs recommend taking the dumplings out of the freezer in advance so that they thaw a little before cooking. You only need to remove the ice crust, not letting the dumplings thaw completely. Next, bring the water to a boil, and then cool it slightly by adding ordinary boiled cold water. The optimal water temperature for cooking dumplings is about 50 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>When the water reaches the desired temperature, the dumplings are carefully lowered into the pan, avoiding sudden movements to prevent them from sticking together.
