European countries are actively looking for ways to keep Ukrainian refugees who were forced to leave their homes because of the war.<\/p>\n
This topic is being raised by sociologists, because millions of Ukrainians are currently in different countries of Europe. The Director of the Institute of Demography and Social Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ella Libanova, noted that the discussion of the future of Ukrainians in European capitals has become a subject of attention. States are trying to find a balance between supporting refugees and protecting their economic interests.<\/p>\n
\u201cEurope is thinking about how to keep Ukrainian refugees in their countries,\u201d she emphasized.<\/p>\n
Libanova also reported on existing cases of deportation of Ukrainians, but emphasized that these are not mass processes. This mostly concerns people who ended up in the territory of countries without the necessary documents or arrived illegally, which can happen in Poland and other European countries.<\/p>\n
Currently, millions of Ukrainians live in Europe, whom the war forced to leave the country. Therefore, a few hundred cases of deportation cannot significantly change the overall picture. Against the backdrop of the large number of Ukrainians in Europe, such incidents seem insignificant.<\/p>\n
According to the expert, European governments are beginning to change their approach to supporting Ukrainians. While at the beginning of the war the main focus was on social benefits and humanitarian aid, now more and more programs are focusing on employment for refugees.<\/p>\n
Despite favorable conditions, recent news from Poland indicates a mass migration of refugees to Germany, and the UK has simplified the conditions for extending visas for Ukrainians.<\/p>\n
