After April 1, 2026, some Ukrainian pensioners may lose their right to receive pension payments. In order to avoid this, pensioners must fulfill a certain condition, as indicated in the information of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The problem concerns those citizens who reached retirement age and passed the identification procedure in 2025, but did not inform the fund about receiving a pension or a lifetime allowance from Russian pension authorities. To maintain your right to a pension, it is important to inform the Pension Fund about the absence of Russian payments by April 1, 2026. This can be done in several ways, the most convenient of which is to use the online service on the official web portal of the Pension Fund.<\/p>\n
To do this, you need to log in to your personal account, go to the “Remote Information” section and check the box indicating that you do not receive a pension from another country, including Russia.<\/p>\n
You can also confirm this information during video identification, when a representative of the fund will ask a question about payments from Russia, and the answer will be recorded in the document based on the results of the check.<\/p>\n
