The release of the PC version of Death Stranding 2 was less than gamers had hoped. However, developers from Kojima Productions introduced an innovation that may interest fans – a new difficulty level called To the Wilder, which was created based on community feedback.<\/p>\n
The new difficulty system was developed in response to criticism of the previous one. Many players noted that even at the highest settings, the game became too easy over time: transport capabilities, improved equipment and help from other workers through the infrastructure significantly simplified the delivery of goods. The developers say that in To the Wilder, many undervalued elements become vital for completing levels. The team has already played the game in this mode and confirms that without certain items, it will be extremely difficult to cope with the tasks. At the same time, they deliberately do not reveal all the nuances so that players can find effective strategies on their own.<\/p>\n
The game also emphasizes the social aspect – the system of interaction between players becomes especially important in this more severe scenario. Help from other users, shared infrastructure and exchange of resources can greatly simplify the passage.<\/p>\n
As a result, the To the Wilder mode turns Death Stranding 2 into a real test of endurance and strategic thinking, where every wrong step can have serious consequences.<\/p>\n
