Discussing Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent statement about a possible reduction in missile supplies for Patriot systems, Scheitelman noted that Ukraine is actively looking for alternatives, and not just waiting. He emphasized that Kyiv is already testing new air defense systems together with French partners, demonstrating their effectiveness on Russian missiles.<\/p>\n
“We are creating our own security umbrella over Europe without the participation of the United States. Technologically, Ukraine will play a key role in this process,” Scheitelman noted.<\/p>\n
The expert added that Ukraine is becoming the center of a new security format \u2014 \u201cNATO 2.0,\u201d where our military technologies and combat experience will ensure the protection of European countries, including Estonia, which has already turned to us for guarantees.<\/p>\n
