New rules for recipients of disability pensions are coming into force in Ukraine, which may lead to the suspension of payments for certain categories of persons.<\/p>\n
The Pension Fund noted that the changes apply to those who did not undergo a re-examination or did not confirm their disability group in time.<\/p>\n
Problems with payments may arise for persons who have been assigned disability for a limited period. If such citizens do not appear for examination by the medical and social expert commission, their pensions will be automatically terminated until the status is confirmed.<\/p>\n
There are also possible complications for those who have inconsistencies in the documents or do not have the necessary medical reports. If there is no current information in the registers, payments are also stopped.<\/p>\n
Special attention is paid to Ukrainians living abroad. If they fail to confirm that they have passed the examination, either remotely or on-site (if applicable), their benefits may be suspended.<\/p>\n
However, the Pension Fund assured that the changes do not apply to persons with permanent disability or those who have completed all the approved procedures and submitted the necessary documents on time. The main goal of the innovations is to update data and prevent illegal receipt of social benefits.<\/p>\n
It was previously reported that persons with disabilities benefited significantly from the indexation of pensions, but the possibility of blocking accounts for payments was not excluded if there is no current information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
