The real estate of the Kyiv Radio Plant was sold for UAH 2.7 million, despite the fact that its real market value is over UAH 62 million.<\/p>\n
This object is of strategic importance and is not subject to privatization, as reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.<\/p>\n
More than 10 thousand square meters of property belonging to the Kyiv Radio Plant have passed into private ownership. Among the assets sold are administrative buildings, security facilities and production buildings.<\/p>\n
The transaction amount was only UAH 2.7 million, and according to estimates, the market value of this property exceeds UAH 62 million. This means that the objects were sold approximately 23 times cheaper than their real value.<\/p>\n
Forensic examinations confirmed that the state suffered significant losses. In addition, it was found that the sale took place in violation of current legislation, which prohibits the privatization of assets of enterprises in the space industry.<\/p>\n
The sale was handled by an arbitration manager who at that time was acting as the liquidator of this strategic enterprise.<\/p>\n
Under the procedural guidance of the Darnytsia District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, he was charged with suspicion under Part 3 of Article 365-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of authority by a person providing public services, which led to serious consequences.<\/p>\n
The sold objects were seized. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway, within the framework of which all the details of the case are being established and a possible connection with other persons is being checked.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers emphasize: state property cannot be used for personal interests. The sale of strategic assets with discounts of 95% is not just a mistake, but a criminal offense for which liability is provided.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
