The system of teacher education in Ukraine tries to teach teachers to create “ideal lessons”, but in practice the situation in classrooms often looks completely different. Students may interrupt, talk, or even ignore the learning process, and pedagogy specialists do not receive instructions on how to deal with such cases.<\/p>\n
In her post on the Threads platform, teacher Yulia Tsaruk pointed out the lack of practical advice for new teachers in the modern education system. She emphasized that the realities of school life are complex and unpredictable, and simply expecting students to always follow the rules is wrong.<\/p>\n
“Students of pedagogical universities, tell me honestly, are you still taught how to create a “perfect lesson” where children behave well? Do they already explain that students can behave differently, and also what to do about it?” – she noted ironically in her post.<\/p>\n
Her colleagues’ comments confirmed her thoughts. They emphasized that most students are taught how to create perfect lessons on paper, but don’t get the knowledge they need for real classroom work, where all sorts of troubles arise. Many graduates who thought they had mastered the theory face difficulties when they come to practice.<\/p>\n
Teachers in their comments noted that many issues that arise during teaching could be resolved through practical training. However, lack of time and opportunities often deprive future teachers of this important training. In addition, educators drew attention to the need to train students who work with children with special educational needs. This issue is very relevant in connection with the development of inclusive education, which requires a professional approach to each child.<\/p>\n
