Kyivstar has announced the abolition of roaming fees in Ukraine. You will not pay extra if your phone accidentally connects to another operator’s network. How does it work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are near the border, your device can automatically connect to the operator of the neighboring country. You must manually select the Kyivstar network in your phone settings to do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to note that if you have just returned from abroad, your spending data may not have been processed by the company yet, and normalization may take up to 45 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To avoid accidental roaming costs, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open your phone settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to the “Network selection” section and select “Automatic”.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Make sure the Kyivstar network is displayed on your phone screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These simple steps will help you avoid unexpected costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For those in border areas, it is recommended that they manually select Kyivstar in the settings and monitor the operator’s display on the screen. This will avoid roaming charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We are waiting for essential changes regarding Ukrainians’ non-cash payments. Earlier, it was also discussed that calls to other countries became cheaper, but the tariff for a daily package increased\u2014changes in tariffs from Kyivstar.
