As one of the visitors, Iryna, recalls, comfortable conditions for rest and recovery were created here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The institution operated until 2019, when it closed due to internal conflicts and financial problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The situation changed in 2020, when the court arrested the sanatorium after revealing the Federation of Trade Unions&#8217; illegal appropriation of property. In 2022, the State Bureau of Investigation announced the sanatorium&#8217;s return to state ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plan to develop the territory encountered obstacles from the state, since the asset was of interest to private businesspeople and the state, which returned it to its ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the sanatorium territory has already been alienated to private companies, particularly to a company associated with Kaufman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a tendency when Kaufman and his partners are trying to legally consolidate the right to use the remaining part of the land for further development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information leaks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sanatorium is located 27 kilometers from Kyiv, among a protected oak forest, on the banks of the Dnieper. For many years, Ukrprofozdorovnitsa, which owned the sanatorium, lost part of its land rights, transferring the territories to various projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the territory was transferred to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and private individuals who received plots for construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, Development Solutions intends to lease the remaining plots to implement commercial projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sanatorium&#8217;s property has already been distributed, and the real estate remaining in &#8220;Ukrprofozdorovytsia&#8221; is in bankruptcy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investment context<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boris Kaufman, a well-known businessman, is also associated with other investment projects and companies.
