The incident occurred in the Okhota district during a night patrol. The officers noticed a woman sitting on the sidewalk with her children. She was pregnant and had recently divorced, having come to Warsaw from the city of Siedlce. The woman was left homeless and without the necessary documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police officers reported that the mother and children were Ukrainian citizens with refugee status, but they did not have passports with them. The mObywatel application, which can confirm documents, did not work. Thanks to the efforts of the city police officers, access to the system was restored, the data of the woman and her children were found, and the crisis center was contacted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Soon, confirmation was received that the family was ready to be accepted. That same night, the mother and children were taken to the crisis center, where they were provided with the necessary assistance and a safe place to spend the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Warsaw City Guard stressed that homeless people can seek help in emergencies even if they do not have all the documents. This is especially true for pregnant women and families with children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, on the morning of May 12, a special operation was carried out in one of the residential complexes in Wieliczka, Poland.
