The press service of the Kyiv region police reported this, noting that the details of this tragedy are still being investigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The accident occurred on May 12 at 23:20. Previously, the 34-year-old driver of the Skoda Oktavia, moving along the Kyiv-Odesa road, ran over a pedestrian who was crossing the road in an unauthorized place,” the police statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, the 33-year-old man did not survive. In connection with this incident, law enforcement officers have initiated criminal proceedings on the fact of a road accident that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
