Some Ukrainians will have the opportunity to receive new social assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is necessary to understand who can receive these payments and where to apply for them. Basic social assistance will be provided to Ukrainians with low incomes in accordance with the new Procedure approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Serhiy Korobkin, an expert on pension issues, wrote about the details of the payments in the publication Na <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">pension<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Conditions for receiving basic social assistance<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Starting from July 1, 2025, the following groups may apply for financial support:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; low-income families;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; single mothers;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; families with many children;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; children whose parents evade paying alimony or who cannot provide for their children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">From October 1, 2025<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, other vulnerable population categories may be added to these groups.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Basic social assistance is provided for six months, with the possibility of automatic extension.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Amount of assistance<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The amount of basic social assistance will be determined individually based on the difference between the total amount for each family member and their average income for the previous quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The basic amount for the first family member will be 4,500 hryvnias, and for each subsequent one, 3,150 hryvnias, which is 70% of this amount.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For older adults who have not accumulated the necessary experience to receive a pension, the following indicators are used:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; 2,385 hryvnias &#8211; if the experience is less than 10 years;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; 2,790 hryvnias &#8211; if the experience is from 10 to 20 years;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; 3,150 hryvnias &#8211; if the experience is from 20 to 30 years;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; 3,960 hryvnias &#8211; if the experience exceeds 30 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How to apply for assistance<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">An application for basic social assistance can be submitted in two ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; in writing at the Pension Fund service center;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; online through the &#8220;Diya&#8221; portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">We remind you that there are other essential conditions for retirement before the age of 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It was also previously reported that pensioners will be paid 10 pensions at a time and how to increase their retirement in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Important information is available for all readers interested in receiving pension payments.
