Stopkortsy appealed to the National Security and Defense Council due to possible circumvention of sanctions by Parimatch dealers at the code level
StopKor journalists have contacted several government agencies, including the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Finance, with a request to verify information about possible violations of sanctions by Parimatch.
According to the data, Parimatch, which is subject to sanctions, continues its activities under the Gorilla and Beton brands, utilizing the Gorillabet platform. The licenses obtained from KRAIL indicate that these projects may be part of a large-scale scheme.
An audit conducted by StopKor, in collaboration with IT specialists, revealed several technical similarities between the Gorilla and Parimatch sites. In particular, both sites use:
- Identical JavaScript scripts with identical control hashes.
- Similar CSS styles, differing only in domains.
- The same Montserrat font and a similar UI system.
- Common directory structures, which differ only in their “brand code.”
- One set of analytical services connected by identical codes but with different IDs.
These circumstances indicate that Gorilla and Parimatch may operate on a single multi-brand platform, which creates grounds to consider this an attempt to circumvent sanctions.
StopCor has prepared an official request to various bodies, including the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the KRAL, and has also personally delivered requests to these institutions to draw attention to this situation.
We would like a quick response from the relevant authorities. Recently, information has also emerged that Vbet has acquired Parimatch’s assets in Brazil, which has sparked discussion due to suspicions of sanctions circumvention.
