Crunchy on the outside, juicy filling on the inside: this “sandwich” will change your idea of ​​breakfast, recipe

Sometimes you don’t just want to eat breakfast, you want to experience it – with crunch, aroma and the feeling that you are a bit of a chef in your own kitchen. Here is a great version of a “sandwich masterpiece”, combining toast and a baked dish, where simple ingredients become a real gastronomic discovery.

This recipe attracts attention with its details: thin vegetable strips are already able to transform an ordinary breakfast, and eggs play the main role, while bacon adds a unique aroma. The result looks as if you ordered a dish in a stylish cafe, and not just opened the refrigerator.

Required ingredients:

Zucchini – 1/3 pc.

Carrot – 1/4 pc.

Cottage cheese – 1 tbsp.

Bread – 1 large slice

Eggs – 2 pcs.
Bacon – 2 slices
Sesame (to taste)
Vegetable oil (for greasing the mold)
Method of preparation:

Vegetables are first turned into thin ribbons using a vegetable peeler – the more evenly they are cut, the more spectacular the finished dish will look. After that, the strips are cut lengthwise to make almost “vegetable noodles”.

The baking dish is lightly greased with oil so that nothing sticks and an appetizing crust is formed. Vegetable ribbons are laid out in this dish, forming small depressions, which can be called “nests”.

In the center of each of the nests we place a piece of bacon, and on top of it we carefully break an egg.

The whole structure goes into the oven, where in 15-18 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees it turns into a tasty and aromatic dish.

In parallel, in a dry frying pan, brown a piece of bread until a light crispy crust appears. While the bread is still hot, generously spread the cottage cheese so that it melts a little.

The final touch is to spread the finished nests with egg and bacon on the bread, and sprinkle with sesame seeds for texture and a light nutty accent.

This is the case when a regular set of products turns into something more. And, to be honest, after such a breakfast, returning to the usual sandwiches is no longer attractive.
