Will be paid immediately for two months: pensioners who will receive increased payments in June

In June 2025, some Ukrainian pensioners who remain at work will receive increased payments. This is due to the second stage of pension recalculation, carried out in April 2025. However, although the accrual has already been made, payments will only be made now due to technical and legislative processes.

This increase applies only to working pensioners who meet certain conditions. According to the Ministry of Social Policy, there are approximately 2.8 million pensioners in Ukraine, but only 629,000 of them will be subject to automatic recalculation of payments.

It is worth noting that pensions will not be recalculated for specific categories of persons. In particular, this applies to:

– those for whom two years have not yet passed since the previous recalculation;

– pensioners who receive long-service payments by separate laws;

– persons who have not reached the age of 60.

Although the recalculation was officially completed on April 1, the new amounts will be accrued with a delay until June. This is due to the need to submit reporting on the single social contribution for the first quarter of 2025, which ends on May 10. The Pension Fund was waiting for this information to calculate the payments correctly.

In June, pensioners will receive the entire amount of additional payments for April, May, and June immediately. If the pensioner meets all the criteria for recalculation, there is no need to contact the Pension Fund – everything will be processed automatically based on information from the register.
