Відкриття внутрішнього світу через музику: новий трек ''Вилікуй мене'' від Муаяда

Discovering the inner world through music: new track ”Heal me” by Muayad

Muayad, a Ukrainian singer with Syrian roots, debuted with a new song, “Heal Me,” and an arthouse clip that reflects the emotions of the characters, symbolizing the inner state of the performer. This project has evolved into a poignant and heartfelt story about heartache.

Known for his victory in the show “Everyone Sings” and his participation in the national selection for Eurovision 2025, Muayad embodied the themes of internal struggle, emotional vulnerability, and strength arising from pain in his new composition. His voice, spanning six octaves, lends the song a special depth, and Oriental motifs draw from his cultural heritage, creating a unique sonic atmosphere.

The artist notes that this song, for him, is an expression of both hope and pain. He wants everyone who hears it to feel that he is not alone in his experiences. Sometimes, external circumstances can hurt us, and we forget to look inside ourselves, asking the question: “Is it worth it?”.

The clip is a visual reflection of Muayad’s inner state: the spacious gym symbolizes his soul, and the people around him embody various emotions, such as fear, pain, and joy, that are part of his personality.

The artist noted that their team had been searching for a long time for the perfect way to convey the depth of the song. After being inspired by the work of one of the directors, they realized that they had found the right approach to filming.

The events of the video unfold in an empty basketball hall, which symbolizes the emotional state of the main character. People in green suits are associated with memories and experiences that shape or deplete the inner world. They can be static or dynamic, constantly reflecting the variability of feelings.

The clip features five characters, each of whom embodies a distinct emotional state: the basketball player symbolizes struggle, the ballroom dancer represents tenderness, the crump dancer embodies pain, and the breakdancer symbolizes chaos. The last character, inspired by Michael Jackson, shows a mask of calm that hides the true self.

The director of the clip, Yevhen Vahenyk, stated that this space demonstrates the inner emptiness of the main character, and the five characters represent his emotional states.
