Meat becomes a luxury: beef, bacon, and pork are only available to the rich
The situation with meat prices in Ukraine continues to cause concern, as their cost is increasing, turning meat into an absolute luxury. Price monitoring on the Ministry of Finance platform confirms this trend.
Meat products have seen a significant rise in Ukrainian supermarkets. For example, beef, bacon, and pork sausage have become de facto delicacies for many Ukrainians.
Beef prices
Goulash today costs approximately 344.05 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 7.4 hryvnias more than it did last month. At the same time, the price of ribs has not increased so significantly – from 194.26 to 196.95 hryvnias per kilogram.
Pork sausage prices

It was previously reported that dairy products, such as milk, kefir, and sour cream, have also become expensive for Ukrainians. The prices of sunflower oil and butter have also undergone significant changes. Ukrainians express concern about the rise in prices of basic food products such as sausage, bread, and cheese, which negatively affects their budget expenses.
