Automatic granting of “fitness” status for Ukrainians without re-passing the medical board

Ukrainian conscripts who have not passed a re-medical examination may receive the status of “fit” automatically. People’s Deputy Nina Yuzhanina announced this information from the “European Solidarity” party during an interview.

According to Yuzhanina, many people postpone updating their military status until the last moment. This can lead to problems since a person who has received a summons or is wanted will not be able to confirm their health status.

“Many people have been putting off this issue until the last moment. But there is a risk that by the time you finally come for the examination, you will already be wanted or with a summons, and then it will be difficult to confirm your health problems,” the deputy noted.

She urged men not to delay the procedure, as those who do not have time to update their documents may be subject to mobilization.

Men who are on military registration and were previously recognized as being only partially fit must undergo a military medical examination by June 5, 2025. There are no plans to extend the deadlines for passing the commissions yet. Those who do not have time to undergo the examination may be fined up to 17 thousand hryvnias for violating the rules of military registration during the special period.
