New changes that will make life easier for thousands of IDPs
Internally displaced persons in Ukraine have been able to receive pensions and other social payments through Ukrposhta. This became possible thanks to Resolution No. 299 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which came into force on March 20, 2025.
Previously, IDPs who received their status before 2022 could receive payments only through banks. Now, they have a more convenient option available to them – through Ukrposhta.
What steps do you need to take to switch to a new method of receiving payments?
To switch to receiving payments through Ukrposhta, you need to take just four simple steps:
Visit the nearest Ukrposhta branch or contact the postman directly.
Fill out an application, and a Ukrposhta employee will help you with this process.
Provide certified copies of your passport, TIN, IDP certificate, and pension certificate.
Send a package of documents to the Pension Fund free of charge.
Important: the address at which you plan to receive payments must be registered in the Pension Fund database. Please check this information in advance.
Ukrposhta continues to work to improve the conditions for receiving payments, supporting all citizens, including IDPs.
We also recall that earlier, it was announced that payments for low-income individuals would cover debts for utility services. In this regard, the portal “Znay.ua” reported on new conditions for beneficiaries who may be left without discounts on housing and communal services.
