Tax benefits will be provided to mobilized people: who is exempt from paying assessments

Natalia Yuzhanina announced in her Telegram channel the introduction of new measures aimed at reducing tax liabilities for entrepreneurs who are in military service.

As of May 2025, Ukraine has a tax debt of 1.29 million individual entrepreneurs, with a total amount exceeding 13 billion hryvnias. The main reason for this is military mobilization, which led to a significant increase in the number of entrepreneurs unable to fulfill their financial obligations.

According to statistics, during the first year of the war, the number of debtors among individual entrepreneurs increased by 213,000 people, representing a 31% increase. In response to this situation, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax Policy supported a bill that regulates the issue of tax debts of those who are mobilized or undergoing military service.

According to this document, the State Tax Service will be deprived of the opportunity to charge advance payments, fines, and penalties for the single tax, military duty, and single social contribution for entrepreneurs for the entire period of service. Lawmakers adopted Bill No. 13134, which includes the write-off of debts of mobilized entrepreneurs.

Additionally, entrepreneurs who were excluded from the register of single taxpayers due to outstanding debts will be able to renew their registration.

After completing their service, entrepreneurs will have 180 days to fulfill their tax obligations. If they have employees, reporting must be submitted within 150 days after demobilization without incurring penalties.

If the data on the entrepreneur is not in the registers, they can apply to the tax service to receive the relevant benefits, providing documents that confirm their status.Natalia Yuzhanina announced in her Telegram channel the introduction of new measures aimed at reducing tax liabilities for entrepreneurs who are in military service.
