The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is developing a new resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers that will regulate the procedure and amounts of financial rewards for military personnel who implement their innovative developments. Information about this has been published on the department’s official website.

The introduced mechanism should become a vital tool for the fair recognition of the achievements of military inventors and stimulate their scientific and creative development in the field of defense.

Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Churkin emphasized that in conditions of war and technological struggle with the enemy, it is necessary not only to create innovative solutions for the front promptly but also to ensure their protection. The Ministry is actively working on the development of a system of intellectual property protection, which will not only legally enshrine copyrights but also contribute to the formation of a culture of respect for scholarly work in the military sphere.

Additionally, it is planned to establish expert commissions that will assess the developments submitted by military personnel and evaluate their practical value. Thus, the state seeks to create a transparent and motivating system in which every contribution to strengthening defense capabilities will be recognized and rewarded.
