Changes in booking from mobilization in July: procedure and conditions

Russian aggression against Ukraine continues, and in this regard, general mobilization measures are ongoing in the country. The primary objective of these actions is to enhance the composition of the Armed Forces, ensuring protection against the enemy.

Who will be entitled to a postponement from mobilization in July 2025?

Lawyer Roman Simutin noted that specific categories of men can receive reservation from mobilization if they meet the established criteria.

The main requirements include:

updated personal data in the military registration system;
absence in the wanted databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
An official salary not lower than 20,000 hryvnias.
Changed procedure for providing reservation

The procedure for reservation of employees of enterprises has been revised. Previously, mobilized personnel were not included in the total number of employees, but now they are accounted for in this calculation.

For example, suppose a company employs 60 people, of whom 10 are already involved in the army. In that case, reservations can be issued for 30 employees since 50% of the total number is taken into account, including those already mobilized, the lawyer emphasized.

In which institutions can reservations be obtained

The right to reservations is granted to persons who work in:

public organizations;

structures recognized as critically important;

Enterprises that perform essential functions for defense, the energy sector, communications, and other priority industries.

The relevant department decides to grant the status of a critically important enterprise. Only after that can the company submit documents for reservations on behalf of its employees.

New proposals for penalties for commissioners and the legal consequences of evading mobilization were also reported.
